TAB

HOW TO WEAR IT

British in essence, its most distinctive feature is a fabric tab with button or snap fastening, that bridges the two points together and elevates the tie knot in a beautiful arch, much like a collar pin. Our version is similar to the Forward Point in proportion and shape, apart from the introduction of the tab. It pairs well with smaller tie knots (four in hand) and should only be worn with the tab secured.

Background

Yet another milestone in men’s shirting history, the Tab Collar is also of those iconic models, which is (thankfully) experiencing a comeback. Dating as far back as 1920, the tab collar has experienced several ups and downs, falling in and out of fashion up to this day. Much like the Club Collar, this version portrays a vintage feel and was made popular once again due to the success of recent shows such as Boardwalk Empire and Mad Men.
