Best Dressed Athletes – And Coach
The baseball playoffs have started, football is entering its 6th week, hockey had its opener and basketball is about to begin. So if you need a sports fix, there’s plenty of good options right now. This past Sunday I was watching the Patriots and Broncos stage an epic battle relaxing on the sofa, pizza in one hand, beer in another. I was distracted, however, by the grotesque uniforms adorned by the Broncos. Just brutal.

If players could choose their own uniforms, I’m sure they could come up with some good ideas. Well, that time hasn’t come yet but some of them sure know how to dress. So we’ll take a tour of some of the best dressed athletes and see what we can learn from them. Drum roll please.
First up is Tom Brady. He’s dressed casually but this looks good, timely fashion for fall. Most importantly, he looks comfortable.

After a night out keeping up with Gisele, it’s time to relax in a sharp dressed suit.

Next we have Dwayne Wade, my favorite baller on the court but lookn sharp here. This look takes confidence.

And he can balance a casual look as well, still making a nice statement.

Terrell Owens is always a distraction on the field, but he knows how to keep it together off the field.

David Beckham has probably had some help from “Posh Spice” but he brings a personal style mixed with fashion.

Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo styles himself in a pink polo and the bold belt buckle on snakeskin is fearless.

Lebron James is probably the best dressed athlete I think. He combines great formal style with a fun look as well. Here’s to the king.

Finally, I wanted to give some old school recognition to former Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry. Not sure if you’re familiar with what coaches wear these days, but they can learn from an icon.

And we don’t want to forget all the ladies out there, so our best dressed female athlete goes to Anna Kournikova.

And in closing, we leave you with a suit you wouldn’t want to wear, just a friendly reminder that Michael Irvin is not a fashion role model.

So those are some of the athletes we think can provide guidance on style for your wardrobe, impressing the ladies and your opponents, on the field or off. If you have any tips on who you think deserves mention, please let us know and share your thoughts!
