During Christmas break, I laid low with the family. I got lazy, had too many beers and enjoyed a terrific dinner hosted by my brother’s wife in the warm glow of California. There’s nothing more classic than the button down dress shirt. We all have them hanging in our closets, ready at a moments notice. They’re used everyday in a variety of situations. At the office. Dinner with a lady. Your buddy’s wedding. At the bar sipping cocktails.

It was frigid when I stepped outside, but I was feeling mellow, content. I had left Old Town Social after a few Manhattan’s, the mood still lingering. I was doing good, mid winter nothing but a rumor.
